Happy New Year, everyone! Thank you for your patience during the month of December, the drawing break was much needed between the Christmas holiday, my anniversary, New Years and my birthday. But now it’s time to get back into it, so let’s go!

Now that Cilantro is done, what are we gonna do now? In short, 1) stuff I wanna do and 2)less commissions. Mailable art as well (i.e. comics, prints) - making CNMC into a physical book was greatly satisfying. And improve, of course. 

But the more honest answer would be that for the past few months I’ve been focusing on my own story that I’d like to create art for. One that many are familiar with called Uncle Nick, but also the broader universe it exists in. So more OCs, more dynamic art…and less Wildehopps (sorry guys, it’s time to get serious lol). I’ll speak on it later this week, but I want to create art around this storyline. Art includes storyboards, animatics, character sheets, illustrations, environments, comics and written components like scripts and pre-production pitch bibles spanning several pages and more. 

I’ve been treating UN as a tv series so the art, at this stage, is “pre-production” in nature. Maybe I’ll get VAs? Maybe I’ll get help to create a short? I don't know, we’ll see how 2023 pans out.

I’m moving away from DeviantArt this year and making a website where all of my art can exist all in one place. The domain was already purchased back in Dec so at this point I just need to set it up and get art uploaded, so once that’s done I’ll share it officially. I’ll also be on Instagram, Twitter, Artfol (holding my name there - we’ll see where that goes) and Pixiv. Moving art takes a bit of work so more to come when the deed is done; art will sit on DA until then as well.

Happening within this month, I’ll be dropping monthly sketch pages / commissions etc. from all applicable tiers to keep the focus on improving and creating (and because work-life is important and art is by no means my only job). I'll still open commissions based on the 2022 waitlist when I need to.

However starting Feb, I’d like to add downloadable CSP / project files and timelapses as an additional benefit to those who’d like to see how the gravy is made (outstanding sketches will still be completed). More info later!
