Happy Summer, everyone!

I’m sorry for the LONG time away, I’m actually taking people’s advice on achieving work-life balance; burning out is arguably much worse than taking a breather. I just need to learn how to communicate that beforehand.

General Update - Series World Building

Most of the time has been spent on commissions, which I'll share in a more comprehensive post, but honestly I’ve been diving into the world of urban and transit planning and architecture in order to uncover - or essentially redevelop -  the hidden infrastructure of Zootopia. Designing buildings and maps around my own series was something I never thought I’d be doing, but here I am... and I'm having a blast! “Episode 1” of UN features a chase through the city with Nick eventually in pursuit by bike, and somehow this 6-month old idea was the catalyst to creating several different original set locations. 

In my head the "Uncle Nick" idea is a spin-off that is part of a larger world contained in a series (one of those “__ - The Series”-type shows) where the story is longer, the stakes are higher, and the baddies are badder. But to create something like that would be a huge undertaking, so UN has slowly been rewritten to include more of that world. Verdict is...still out on whether or not I'll create this idea, but I can certainly world-build and share with you all!

It surely does sound like I’m trying to make an actual series, doesn’t it lol. Next post will include a pulse check survey to assess again what you guys want to see more of, as well as the long list of comms that have flown out the door. I just wanted to make sure I touched base with you all.
