Development Update - 022 (Patreon)

So this has been a rather eventful week for me. I did some more backup vocals for a friend of mine, had a PAWG spray whipped-cream in my pants, and then got stuck drinking Scotch and talking about philosophy with a bunch of old men in suits. Overall, pretty fun. But getting whipped-cream out of JNCO jeans was a bit of a pain.

Upgrading from my previous work. So I spent a couple posts complaining about my work looking like garbage, but this time I actually did something about it. You can see much smoother lines with actually thickness and volume. Before, someone asked me if I was using a mouse to line these, and I didn't blame him. So hopefully you guys like this new style that I'm going to try to keep up with and hold.

How does this affect the current assets and release date? Neither will change during the development time. As soon as I release Chapter 2, I will begin working on updating the assets and will then release an updated version of Chapter 2, which will then be followed by Chapter 3 development. As for the release date, I'm still shooting for Late August - Mid September range.

This was on Discord, is this all you worked on this week? No, in fact I've drawn plenty of other things. I'm simply away from my scanner right now, and even if my scanner WAS around, I'm still holding back on you guys. :) Gotta make Chapter 2 live up to the hype.

This block alone. This block fixed my cutscene replay issue. Basically the character from the last save you used will be used in replayed cutscenes that you access from the main menu after unlocking them in game. Just shows, coding isn't hard. It's just problem solving.

YouTube Playlist shuffle sucks. Can we take a moment to realize just how horrible their system is? You try to shuffle your songs, but you always hear the same song shortly after. Which technically means it's also on repeat without you even pressing repeat. Come to think of it, YouTube really does suck. Not the website, but the actual people behind it. Content creators get demonetized for not being family friendly, but YouTube puts up ads for horror movies and scary clips of people talking about the dangers of drugs. Yea... Real family friendly.
