Development Update - 011 (Patreon)

It seems to me that the once a week updates just aren't enough for some people. But don't misunderstand, I'm thankful for everyone who took the time to pledge and inquire about this project, even if they deleted their pledge. All we can do is move on and learn from whatever mistake there was.

So how about this? In addition to having Development Updates every Wednesday, if I get a handful of stuff done, I'll post it here ASAP.

Anyways, since this section of the Development Update is basically the one where I get to talk about whatever, can I just say that Mortal Kombat 11 is so much fun? Like, I'm the kind of guy that endlessly grinds a game until I get everything that I like. And with the different gear that you can unlock, I'm just having a blast.

No, I didn't waste all my time playing Mortal Kombat. If I remember correctly, I'm only level 41 and I've only played the game for three days (I think it was a total of 15 hours). I'm sure there's a calculation issue there but I'm just estimating.

Concepts

Okay, this part is important. So, I've been working on a Combat System. It will be turn based with the player on the left and the enemy on the right. Similar to Four Elements Trainer, there will be a maximum of 3 people on each side (including the player).

This is essentially what I'm thinking for us. As soon as you beat your opponent, you will have the option to humiliate, rape, and/or subject them to bad jokes. Simple as that. Of course, creating this feat is going to be an interesting one for me, but we'll worry about that when I'm 10 beers in and can't stand anymore.

Erm... Oh yea! If you guys have anything in particular you'd like to see for the Monthly Picture, leave it in the comments. I'm trying not to make anything too crazy just so I don't kill the hype of seeing some of these characters doing crazy things. And if I get enough suggestions, I can try to make the Monthly Picture semimonthly. Wait... is "semimonthly" even the right word? Who cares, you know what I mean. Two times a month.

Coding

I've done little bits of coding for the fighting here and there. It involves a lot of screens and things that happen behind the scenes. Aside from that, most of my progress goes to two things:

The continuation of the Tigress Path. Our player awakens to Tigress, yet again, but this time she has friends. Shifu makes an appearance, and explains to the player that Tigress will be teaching him. Unhappy with what he just said, Tigress asks to talk out in the hall, where a shadow of Tigress and Shifu can be seen. She tries to pin the training on Po or Shifu, but as a Kung Fu Master she shouldn't be as naive as to accept a bet from none other than a Wu Sister, so she's on her own on this one. 

and

The Cheat System. I figure it's time to give my $20 patron what they rightfully deserve. As of right now, there are three codes that will either take off the Main Menu girls' pants, take off their panties, or put them in atomic wedgies (If you are here from something other than DeviantArt, don't worry, this is a porn game. I just happened to start out in the wedgie community). I also have a button in the bottom right corner that will swap the girls from Su and Tigress, to Wan and Mei Ling, to Wing and Song. That way, everyone can be happy. Of course, the code will be universal. So if you want to see Mei Ling's undies, just toggle the Mei Ling menu and input the code.

Of course, I'll have codes for giving the player money and other things, but we currently don't have a currency system yet (I could probably set one up in like 5 minutes, so it's not a big deal).

Art

A couple days ago, we had a livestream where I lined and colored these two ladies. Overall, I like them. But the hair kinda goes against the style of the rest of the characters and they're too close in color. So to combat this, I'm going to redraw the heads and change Kitty's coloring to dark gray and white.

Anyways, during that stream, we learned two things:

Here we are, more concept art for the next batch of sluts. Actually, I should avoid using that word. How about whores? Erm... is the waman meme still a thing?

Never mind, point is, these are the girls you can take advantage of after winning a fight with them.

Don't ask me what race the one on the left is because even the artist (mlpfunfictionwriter) had no clue. But she looks fun, so let's just shoot first, ask questions never.

Miscellaneous

Unfortunately, I do most of my major work on the weekdays. So if I have any more livestreams they'll be somewhere within Monday-Friday. Of course, I'll send out a notification post for everyone, but not everyone is with my schedule so I in no way expect all 8 patrons to join. Maybe less than half... Okay, I'll be surprised if we get 3 again.

Anyways, I might have another Development Update for you guys in a few days. I intend on getting some serious work done these next couple days, because the wait is killing me, as I'm sure it's doing the same for you all.
