I dunno what we were watching the other day but it sparked an idea in me to see if I could list as many components of very early websites and Internet phenomena as possible in the hopes of sparking some memories in you all. So before Eurovision week kicks off let's sit down and have a lovely chill one complete with the usual throat farts.

Early Internet was a lawless place. I specifically remember spending a lot of my time on a website called AlbinoBlackSheep and watching flash animations for hours and hours. I'm hoping someone else on the patreon remembers some of these: The Llama song Big bag song Schfifty five Boy and robot Burnt face man I also remember falling for a lot of prank games and videos that were so prevalent back then (e.g. the jumpscare maze and the zombie car jumpscare). Scared the absolute poo out of me.

I can't believe you mentioned freewebs. I'd forgotten all about that. I have wished over the years that I could go back and find the site I made with lookalikes on it. It was so much fun! The 1st one stands out in my memory still. It was Hermie the wannabe dentist from Rudolph and Project Runway's Austin Scarlett from Season 1. Twins I tell you. Fun nostalgic pod🫛! 🖤❤️

My junior year of college, we came back to campus and found jacks in our rooms - a college online bulletin board was now a thing! After that, the internet just exploded. I remember my first PC and I was obsessed with Chip's Challenge... I think I still have the level codes somewhere. What a time!! To clarify my comments on the last ep - I may have imbibed a bit too much!!! : 1. I almost pulled the car over laughing hysterically at the Islands in the Stream karaoke story - I think we've all had to fake our way through a number or two. I couldn't even sing a song WITH the lyrics in front of me!! 2. I was listening to the Elisa Lam pod and it seemed like you were doing your intros in a different tone/cadence back them - that's the only reason I thought you were Char for a second. Then Char disappeared and Lymp was there I love all these pods but this one was really a nostalgia trip <3

I remember MSN groups, and everyday checking on the Neon Genesis Evangelion role play group I was part of on Yahoo groups. I also made countless websites on Geocites and Angelfire for some reason!
