Hey guys. I hope you don't take this as hate or "trolling", as I only intend it to be a fair criticism of your actions. I am going to be unsubscribing and stopping my membership with you on Patreon as I am really disappointed, as a long-time supporter of yours and fellow queer person, that you are continuing to cover and promote this year's Eurovision without making an explicit call for it to be boycotted, as it should be. While I appreciate your fundraising for charities dedicated to delivering humanitarian aid to Palestinians, I think it is morally reprehensible to not be boycotting the ESC in addition to fundraising. I feel as though we all have a social responsibility and moral obligation to boycott in protest of Israel's continuous and diabolical genocide of the people of Palestine, and I truly believe we should all do our best to avoid being moderates who prioritise order over justice. I know you guys take pride in creating a space of escapism and light-heartedness online, and I know Eurovision is not always taken as a serious topic… but this is serious, and by speaking on the topic publicly, you are, by default, involved in the seriousness of it. I really ask that you reconsider participating as viewers and/or voters in this year's contest and hope that you will issue a call to your followers to boycott also. Goodbye for now.

I understand your sentiment but I respectfully disagree with the notion that participating in or creating content about ESC equates to prioritizing order over justice. Novympia covering Eurovision is an escape for many of us in the world. They've been incredibly sensitive to current affairs in their offering, and I for one think they've been extremely socially responsible. They've gone far beyond many creators. Imo you'll still be consuming Eurovision content regardless of where you are online or in media, instead of demanding they boycott the event, consider raising vital funds for those affected by the conflict and pushing pressures towards our government.
