Alex had always dreamed of living on the beach. However, since she was born in a generation where it was too late to get beachfront property (or any property) at a bargain, she figured it would remain a dream forever. But when she became a popstar, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to buy a beachfront property near one of her favorite childhood vacation spots popped up, and she could not refuse. Palm trees, all the coconuts she could drink, and sand as fine as Escobar cocaine; it was the perfect spot for a summer or winter home, as the temperature didn't change too much in the tropics. Despite her accountant's constant protests about her purchase of the property, mostly due to how much renovation work she would have to put into it, Alex put in an offer for the house. In just a few weeks, she had the keys to the house and started work on renovating it to be dream vacation home material.

Her accountant was right to be concerned as she put a lot of money into it, and it took a long time with all the hurdles and troubles she had to overcome as a first-time renovator. Luckily, the contractors she hired were professional, helpful, and fast enough to get the place done and ready just in time for the summer.

Hand-in-hand with her dream to live on the beach was her dream to surf. She had seen people do it before and it looked fun. Admittedly, the main reason why she wanted to try her hand at surfing was from watching Lilo & Stitch. It looked so easy and peaceful. After a quick trip to the beachfront surf shop that was just a few minutes from her house, Alex came back with a surfboard strapped to the top of her car and was ready to take on the wrath of Poseidon. She carried the surfboard from her car, around her house, and onto the beach. The sun was out, and the sky was as blue as it could be. The waves were surprisingly large, too, with a strong breeze blowing in from the sea, helping to make them just a little bigger than usual. The sound of waves crashing and seagulls cawing were the only things she could hear, and she was far enough away from the resort area of the coastline that the beach was deserted.

The tigress's feet left cute pawprints in the sand as she lugged her surfboard across the gorgeous white powder toward the darker wet sand where the waves crashed and sizzled. Once she was close enough to the water but stood where the sand was still relatively dry, the tigress set her surfboard down in the sand, took off her beach coverup, and laid it on the ground. She then removed her sunglasses and tossed them and her phone onto her shirt. Stretching her arms over her head, she made a cute noise as she stretched her legs and spread her toes, and picked her board back up.

Alex pitter-pattered toward the water, leaving even more pawprints leading from her house to the water. Once her toes stepped into the splash zone where the waves sunk into the sand and faded away, Alex stabbed her surfboard into the sand and looked out at the massive 8-foot waves as they rolled over themselves and created the most beautiful surf breaks she had ever seen. The tigress let out a happy sigh as she watched the waves roll from deep to crash at her toes. She wiggled them as they got soaked in the saltwater and stood there silently enjoying the sound of the crashing waves, the saltiness of the air that she could taste on her tongue, and the surprisingly cool temperature of the water. She put her free hand on her hip and tapped the fingers of her other hand against her brand-new surfboard. She let go of her board to bring her hands to her hair and tie it up into a neat ponytail. With her hair all neat and tied up, she started tapping her feet against the wet sand as she imagined herself riding a wave.

The more she stared at the big waves, the more excited she was to surf them, but there was just one problem: she had never surfed before in her life. The surfboard was another case of her impulse decisions that her accountant would probably complain to her about, but it wasn’t diamond-encrusted or gold-plated. With only one studio album out and one world tour under her belt, she didn’t have that kind of reckless spending power just yet. She let out a big sigh when she came to realize that this probably wasn’t going to be as easy as she had hoped but kept her big smile plastered across her face as she pulled her surfboard out of the sand like King Arthur and Excalibur, although with a little more of a struggle due to how heavy it was. She then stepped deeper into the ocean and waded her way through until she was far out enough that she could pull herself up to lie flat on the board and watch for waves that she could catch and ride. Zero skill be damned, all she had to do was channel her inner Australian surfer, and she’d be fine, right?

Alex perched herself up on her elbows to get a better view of the waves as she floated through the ocean’s ripples. From in the water, she was able to see all the way down the beach to the resort where she saw a lot more surfers lying flat on their boards and waiting for a big enough one to come. Alex wasn’t quite ready to take on a big one yet, so when she saw one that looked adequate, she quickly spread her arms out into the water at her sides and paddled her way to get just enough ahead of the wave to ride its momentum toward the shore. She paddled with her hands and increased the speed at which she cut through the ocean. When she felt the wave that she had eyed earlier underneath her, she pushed herself up onto her feet, kept her arms extended out to her sides, and slowly stood up. She kept her knees bent and her gaze forward as the wave started to break. She was a bit wobbly, but the grip tape on her board kept her paw pads from slipping. It took her a good five seconds to realize that she was actually doing it; she was surfing. She went wide-eyed, started chuckling, and pumped her fist into the air in celebration of her feat. However, her over-enthusiastic fist pumping did cause her to lose her balance momentarily.

“Whoa!” The tigress wobbled and her legs locked up as she tried her best not to fall. While she didn’t fall into the sea, her wobbling took her board off the flow of the wave; the wave slipped away from under her board, lost its momentum, and lessened in size as it got closer and closer to shore. It crashed and sizzled as the tigress lied back down on her board and paddled back out into the deep again. She went faster this time, excited and on a sort of “surfer’s high” from successfully riding her first wave just a moment ago. She splashed through the water as she made her way back into the open, then turned around to face the shore while perching herself up onto her elbows and glancing back at the incoming waves. Deep blue wave after deep blue wave passed her by as she waited for one that was at least a little bigger than the last.

Alex started to purr as she rested on her surfboard, bouncing up and down as the waves went by. She felt like a buoy; she was even the same color, which made her chuckle as she thought about it.

“Awrioght, Alex, yor almost theee.” She pep-talked herself in the worst Australian accent anyone has ever done, so bad that she laughed at herself for a good minute once she heard it.

After waiting in the water for what seemed like forever, Alex finally saw a glimpse of a bigger wave coming. It was so big that she could see its crest standing out from the rest like a tall European traveling around Japan. The tigress’s eyes widened, and she felt the fur on her shoulders stand up. She felt a little like she was in the rogue wave scene in the film Poseidon. If she were to tell the story of what was happening now, she’d more than likely exaggerate the height of the wave, but from where she was looking, it needed no exaggeration at all. As the wave crept closer and closer, the tiger turned around and started paddling to get as far ahead of it as she could to be able to catch it just as it started rolling over itself. This was it; this was the wave that would allow her to recreate the surfing scene from Lilo & Stitch that she dreamed of doing ever since she first saw that movie when she was a tiny tween tiger.

As the tigress’s hands sliced through the water and her board glided over the saltwater, she started feeling the water pulling her back; the big wave was catching up with her, and it still didn’t show any signs of breaking. Panicked, Alex paddled with her hands faster and even kicked her legs as if it would help her go any faster since her legs only kicked against her surfboard.

‘Splash, splosh, splush,’

“Please work, please work, please work,” the tiger said to herself as she felt the wave pull her up along its curve. The wave hadn’t broken yet, but it was now or never. If she didn’t stand up on her board and take the wave now, she’d miss it. She looked over her shoulder one more time and pushed herself up onto her feet. With her knees bent slightly and her arms extended out to her side to help her balance, the wave took her zooming across the water a lot faster than the previous wave did. The speed she was going at caught her off-guard, and the more she bent her knees, the faster she went. Her legs wobbled, and she struggled a bit with her balance, and it only got worse once the wave started to break and roll over itself just behind her.

‘Crrrrrssssshhhhhhhhhh.’

As the wave rolled over itself, it created the perfect barrel, big enough to curl over both Alex and the surfboard she was awkwardly wobbling on top of. She carefully turned her head to look behind her at the tunnel that formed and was left in awe at its beauty. She focused on her balance before doing anything else, and once her legs stabilized, she reached out her right hand to touch the wall of green-blue, crystal-clear water next to her. Once her fingertips touched the water, she broke the perfect seal of the wave, causing water to splash around her fingers as they sliced through the water. Alex stared at her hand and smiled. "Ohana means family, and family means no one gets left behind... Or forgotten," she said to herself as the fur on her shoulders and arms fluffed up. It had taken her 20 years, but she had finally been able to recreate something she had wanted to do since she was a kid. It didn't take her long to start giggling and cheering like a maniac as she rode the wave closer and closer to shore.

Just as she was cheering and making happy noises, she felt a bump under her surfboard that knocked her off her perfect balance. Her knees immediately went back to being wobbly, and she quickly lost control of the surfboard under her. It waved left and right before slipping right out from underneath her and shooting up into the air. This sent the tigress flying back into the rolling wave behind her. It all happened so quickly that she didn't even have time for any explicit language to escape her lips as she made a splash in the barreling wave and disappeared. Her board fell from the air and into the water not long after.

‘Crrsplaasssshhhh.’ Alex’s vision went blurry as saltwater went into her eyes and soaked through her fur and hair. Falling directly into a big wave like that meant that the tigress was tossed and turned under the water for a good couple of seconds before she could get her bearings together and resurface. All she could see was a mixture of sand, seaweed, and her own arms and legs as she was rolled into the sand. Once the wave passed her by, she was left to the mercy of the much smaller and less powerful ones. She squinted her eyes shut to stop them from burning and swam her way toward the surface.

“Ghyuuuhhhhh!” she gasped for air and flailed her arms around once she broke the surface. She wiped her face with her hand to push the salt water out from the fur around her eyes and opened them up. She looked around frantically for her surfboard and swam over to it once she saw it just a couple of meters away from her. She turned it over, climbed back onto it, and paddled her way with her hands back to shore. When she got close enough to shore that she could stand, she rolled off the board, picked it up underneath her arm, and walked the rest of the way to land. She treaded through the water slowly, letting out some grunts here and there as the resistance of the water took care of what little stamina she had left.

“Phew… God damn…” the tigress chuckled. Once she was out of the water, she set her surfboard down in the sand and sat down next to it. She let out a big sigh, spread her legs, and leaned back on her hands as she looked out to the water. Soaked in seawater, the tigress's fur was matted down and spikey in places. Excess water dripped from her fur onto her board and the sand that she sat on. The waves continued to crash and sizzle against the sand, and seagulls continued to caw as they flew about rather frantically. Alex watched as the birds flew from over the water further inland, and when they flew over her, she turned her attention to the water, where she saw some darker clouds forming in the distance. She let out another sigh and was just about to stand up when she heard someone else’s footsteps in the sand approaching her.

"Storm's comin', bigger waves though." The wolf lifeguard stationed at the beach had his hands on his hips as he looked down at the tigress sitting in the sand. "I'm supposed to make sure people don't go swimming in the storm, but since you're a surfer, I can make an exception." The tall grey wolf smiled as he slid his thumbs under the waistband of his red swim trunks.

Alex looked up at him with a smile before she turned to her right, where she was sure the lifeguard tower was. When she looked, she saw the resort was a lot closer than she remembered, and that the lifeguard tower was to her right instead. "Oh crap, I didn't think I drifted that far. It's my first time surfing. I don't think I'll be staying for the storm. I just wiped out pretty badly; I don't think I can survive a storm," the tiger chuckled.

The wolf had an impressed expression spread across his face, with his eyebrows raised and his eyes wide. "Really? Damn girl, you are a natural then if today's your first day. I saw you riding that big one before you fell off your board; you looked like you knew what you were doing."

Alex could tell that the lifeguard was flirting with her, but she didn't mind in the slightest. He was hot, shirtless, and could probably teach her a trick or two to help her stay on her board longer whenever she was out surfing. Plus, those swim trunks did not leave much to the imagination; she could see the outline of his sheath and its accompanying fat balls. She tried her best not to stare, but with the lifeguard standard-issue color being red, it was a lot harder than she'd like to admit.

"I'm Zeke, by the way," the wolf said with a smile and extended his hand to the tigress. His tail waved behind him as he waited for the tiger to take his hand.

Alex stared at the hand extended to her for a few seconds before shifting her gaze to Zeke's face. She leaned forward, took the wolf's hand, and shook it firmly. His grip was strong but not overpowering, and his paw was surprisingly soft. "I'm Alex, but I think you already know that?" The tiger raised a brow at him.

Zeke chuckled, averted his eyes from the tiger, and shrugged his shoulders. "Well, when a pop star like yourself buys a beachfront property, it's not something that the news ignores," he admitted. "But don't worry! I have only heard a few of your songs, and I have zero creepy or weird questions." The wolf shook the tigress's hand back and gave her a little squeeze at the end too before letting go.

“So, do you want to fuck me in your lifeguard tower?” the tigress said as she licked her lips and stared at the outline of his big doggy dick.
