Tier 1 🌱 Commission WiP + some behind the scenes (Patreon)

Hey my Elves!

Since I updated my Etsyshop I got many lovely orders! ✨ So I had to work together with my girlfriend quite a bit to keep on track with everything. Here are some behind the scene pictures of that!
I order my prints at a local print shop, but when they arrive, there's still a bit I have to do. I have to sort them, cut them accordingly, sign them, put them into protection foil, update my warehousing. When I get an order I also modify every single order with a little personalization and pack everything carefully. This is a lot of fun and really sweet to think about that I'm just packing something for somebody who's interested in my art, but also a lot of work. I really enjoy the bonding time with Glasmond during that.🤗💗

The other thing you can see in this post is a bigger commission I've been working on, for a patron. It's some Ladies from Dragon Age 🐲 (a fantastic game btw, I really wanted to cosplay Sera one day😩💛).

Step 1 is the concept sketch (I do those for bigger commissions), to see if the customer is alright with it.
Step 2 the real sketch and then for step 3 I ink it. After the coloration with water colors and working on a few details, I give it to Glasmond who's doing some of her digital magic to correct some mistakes, realign things, add some atmosphere and mood and in general digitalizes it neatly. That's usually around 1-2h editing work. Et voilà! It is done.
I know I said it a couple of times before, but it's funny how Glasmond adds some elements to make it look even more traditional, haha. 😆 Scanning a watercolor picture always make the colors and shades looking more "flat" and sometimes takes away some of it's traditional feel. So I'm happy about her help. 💋💖
