Evening!

It's been quiet here, but a lot's been going on behind the scenes. I'm currently editing the video about the Gothic remake and that should be out sometime next week depending on how some things go I'm waiting on. Blade Runner footage is also being recorded, and I have an entire Mechanicus playthrough also recorded for that video as well along with working with an artistic guest for it. Simultaneously, the monumental harvest of the Total War footage has been going on as well and already I have more clips than anything I've done before and I'm not even a third into all the factions. That one will be a doozy, and while I'm still hoping to get it out before the next DLC there's a chance I might not even have all the footage until then. It continues to be a great mystery, but I have no doubt it'll be the longest video I've done.

I'll likely have another poll here for the next video when the next few planned ones are out. So far I've just been doing a lot of organizing and catching up on mail (finally chunking into November) and I've been seeing a surprising amount of questions about merch and events. I currently have no plans for merchandise type things, though Patreon recently implemented a thing where people already backing for a certain period of time can automatically receive stuff without paying anything extra, as it would just take a 3% percentage out of what I make on here. Seeing as I'm already far above the final goal at the time of writing, I could look into doing this but I'd want to be sure that's something people are actually interested in before I start knocking on the doors of the artists I know. I'll likely have a poll for that in the next month or so when I'm not hyper focused on the current project juggling.

I've also been asked by a lot of people if I'm going to PAX, TMG, E3, etc and while I've actually been invited by a few groups to do panels and stuff it's always been something I turned down. When the Discord was still around the general consensus was "never show your face I imagine you as the knight man" and I agree. I still have no plans for any intentional face reveals just yet, but the sheer volume of people who are asking about events is starting to get crazy. Even more bizarre when developers are starting to reach out about it even though I suspect they're actually watching the videos with the gachimuchi clips and still going for it. There's still nothing set in stone, but in case the time comes I'm working on a solution that'll hopefully keep everyone happy. For now the focus is entirely on getting videos out since there are several planned reviews ahead that I really want to get out.

Thanks as always for your support!

I really hope the solution you're talking about is a custom made suit of mandalorian armor with full face helmet.

Lars Schäfer

I feel like you should go to events, dressed as Lord Mandalore if you like. People asking you to go on panels sasy something about your knowledge on gaming

Just go full Yoko Taro and buy a helm to wear for public appearances.

The videos are great, they continue to evolve and people seem to be happy with them. There's no need to become a public figure, it's not worth the downside especially if you don't even want your face shown. Do what you're comfortable with, don't bow to pressure.

I expect you to attend any events in full plate armor. No plastic bs, I want solid steel.

You have to do a full costume if you ever do public.

Wear a giant helmet, and then take it off to reveal a smaller helmet underneath.

wear a gambeson if you dont feel like dressing in plate.

I have to agree that you should appear at events in armor or at least a helmet. Be like Lord Bucket Head or Daft Punk.
