Update #33 - Next Video Questions, the Next Small Game, and More LOTR stuff (Patreon)

All is going to plan.

I'm currently recording the Alpha Centauri expansion Alien Crossfire, and have begun some light editing work on the video itself. While I've usually tried to have videos up on a Friday/Saturday, sometimes holding it off until then, I'm going to try an approach of "uploading it and publishing it when it's done" since technical issues have caused a precise schedule for the uploads to go off the rails already. I'm expecting this video to be done sometime next week, but I'll be taking the credit questions for it in this post regardless so I'll have more time to collect them for it.

As for the shorter game I'll be working on while Elite Dangerous continues recording (before I dive completely into it), I'm planning on doing a video for Pathologic 2. I did say in December that "it'd be a year before more strange Russian games" but Pathologic 2 ended up releasing much sooner than I expected. Since it's only releasing with the Haruspex storyline, it'll be significantly shorter than the original Pathologic with all of the characters. 

I have a feeling this will take a lot of people by surprise.  This is a first for me in that it'll be a video on a game that was released within a few days (or possibly the day of) the game's release, though I may also return to it when they have other parts on it out. I was actually contacted by developers the day I put out the video on the first game, and I did some testing/feedback for the first day of the game in an early build of Pathologic 2 a few months ago. I have no idea what's progressed since then, but there were a few issues with it that I hope they've ironed out by this point. Since I'll be using a review copy, that means you can also expect a giveaway of Pathologic 2 that I'll be getting after the video on it is out. While they are giving me an early copy, I'm still going to be focused on Alpha Centauri until that's completed. I don't mind being a few days behind a release compared to the months/years I usually am.
