Update #22 - Stronghold HD and Next Video Questions (Patreon)

So my break didn't last as long as I thought.

 This post was scheduled in advance as I'm out of my place for a short while and I'm currently slightly sick, but I'm hoping that by the time I get back I'll have a voice clear enough to finish the audio and the video by the end of this week. If not, worst case scenario would be next week. I've actually finished the recording I need for Stronghold HD, Stronghold Crusader HD, and Stronghold Crusader EXTREME HD (whew) and am already well into editing. It could be that because it's one of the games I played a lot of as a kid like Empire Earth that it's easier for me to make a video on it, but I'm still not entirely sure of the reasons. I felt especially inspired to get started to the point where I couldn't sit still on it when I was supposed to have video work out of my brain entirely. So good news for everyone! 

I've toyed around with different thumbnails, and I might end up going with the one in this post after some cleanup. Usually the thumbnail is a fairly easy thing to get done, but in this situation it's harder since it's covering about two and a half games at the same time. Most of the official artwork for Stronghold Gold Edition (known as Warchest) does combine the artwork of both games, but didn't include Crusader EXTREME and it's pretty low resolution in comparison. Luckily the video itself can easily be sectioned off to not be so jumbled, but after playing the games I realized they were still far too similar to warrant a separate video on each and could easily be combined into the same one. So yeah, definitely ONE Stronghold HD video instead of separating them out. If I didn't the Crusader video would be a ton of retreading of the original Stronghold, which would mean a lot would be a boring recap for people who saw the other video.

In the case I do surge ahead this week, I'll be collecting the credit questions from the comments below. Ones related to work process stuff definitely won't make it in, since I'm hoping to have most of those answered in the standalone "How To" video coming after Stronghold. Recording myself, well, recording myself has been strange but I'm hoping it'll prove useful to people looking to get into YouTube stuff.
