Evening!

I've been busy moving stuff and am finally just about settled in. Annoyingly most of the acoustic foam and bass absorbers are taking a bit longer than expected but I plan on beginning installation as soon as it arrives in this coming week. As you can see from the image above, my desktop is sort of set up so I can start getting back into the swing of things. While I can't do hardcore editing work or any audio recording yet, I can get started on recording some gameplay footage. I'll also be going through emails and messages as I've become very behind with some unanswered mails being from dates right before the Gothic video was uploaded. I'm terrible at using phone email and typing in general, so even though the current desktop aesthetic is slapped together it'll still be faster than tapping on a phone. Plus I got wired fiber hooked up a few minutes ago, and yes, it does feel like withcraft to me. I tested the Gothic video, which was about 5GB and took me nearly all night to upload before and it took me 2 minutes with fiber. I'm actually baffled at how much more time this is going to give me to work. I knew it was going to be fast, but I don't think I truly understood what a game changer it was going to be until I fired it up myself. God damn.

There's not a whole lot to report on the office itself since most of what I've ordered is still on the way, and even though there have been lots of other move in things going on none are directly related to video stuff so it'd be whinging about stuff that ultimately shouldn't matter to you. I've had a few people ask about doing some kind of "tour" when it's all done, and I think that'll definitely happen for the office but not the rest of the place yet. It's still fairly barebones, and believe it or not I actually don't own a lot of "nerd merch". It's a kind of joke that people on YouTube always have a giant pop culture wall behind them filled with gazillions of figurines, games, and posters but I have no figurines and surprisingly few game boxes. Most classic PC games I bought when they were fresh got put into a CD carrier, and I'd write the key either on top of the disc or on the sleeve it was stored in. I only have a few select physical boxed copies of games, and most of them are RTS games or copies I really liked the case for such as Morrowind and Battlefield 2142.

So to sum it up, I'd definitely like to do a walk around when the office is all set up just don't expect anything too insane merch wise. I don't have a ton.

Thanks again for all your support in this content drought!

Great to hear you're settling in nicely! If I may ask, what is your most valued piece of "nerd merch" that you currently possess?
