YUGO UPDATE

First of all, me and my friends have been working on the YUGO almost non-stop for the past few days and we did a LOT of progress. I'm keeping this spoiler-free but I'll give you a summary and some little teasers since there's gonna be an upload gap for now...

So, we're tearing the entire drivetrain apart and we're putting something really exciting in place of the old engine (that blew 3 times). It was super difficult to plan out as well as source all the parts from all over the world but it was worth it.

While some parts were easier to source in new or like-new condition, the short block was the only part we couldn't get in "new" condition and as a result it needed quite a bit of work.

This is how it arrived and this is what it looked like after 2 days - 

and of course we couldn't just stop there...

The short block was a lot of work but it's not even the main highlight, rather just a base for everything else, from forged internals to something really unique... Something that hasn't been done in a YUGO ever before. 

But I'd rather not get ahead of ourselves, afterall we still need to finish building it. 

In meantime I've also been working on over 2.5 TB of footage from the project. I really like how it's turning but to be honest it's been taking quite a bit of my time in order for me to turn this into a fun and enjoyable video for everyone and not just car folks.

(I'd subtract ~30 hours due to my PC idling while we were working on the mechanical side)

Maybe, just maybe, I'll make 2 videos - 

1. Proper fun episode of the YUGO series

2. Extra extended cut where it's just us tinkering with stuff and having a banter the entire time for hours...

I will consider making the video #2 if the former one is received well and there's a lot of people saying in the comment section that they want to see the extended cut. Otherwise I'm worried it'd just consume all of my time that I could've invested into other projects.

Speaking of which...

Banned From GTA

I've been playing a bit of NoPixel during the beginning of 4.0 update and have a lot of fun stuff to share! I haven't played it much recently but I'm planning to hop on GTA servers a bit more frequently. I'm also whitelisted on ONX now but I haven't had a chance to try it out yet. This NP video is halfway done but I just haven't prioritized finishing it yet as I've been too busy.

Speaking of which...

Team Fortress 2

Don't ask me why there hasn't been any TF2 videos in so long, ask me how far do the clips go in my TF2 folder instead...

Actually don't, I'll just tell you right away - from at least 2022.

I've been collecting clips for at least 2 years now and I've been slowly cutting them down and assembling a video from time to time but I could never finish any of it as I've been mostly focused on CS:GO episodes, cos my CS clip folder kept growing bigger and bigger (all while my friends kept pushing me to make those vids lol).

I will finish the TF2 video sometime this year, in fact it's one of the top prio videos now! 

There's actually a lot of other cool videos I've been trying to prioritize recently but my health has been taking a toll for unrelated reasons and it has heavily contributed to significant limitation of my free time. 

I'm still trying to strike a balance where I focus on videos I know I can finish soon and be happy with the end result VS trying to finish whatever viewers want to see the most. 

Even though technically I'm doing this fulltime I still see it as a fun hobby first and job second. Although, to be fair it's difficult to call it a job when I'm not getting paid for it at all.

As of today my months worth of YouTube earnings are still at a risk of disappearing forever. I can't say much for now as I'm still trying to figure what on earth is going on (and how to not end up in a burden with these medical bills that keep stacking up).

Anyways, I don't want to leave it on a depressing note, I just wanted to clarify that YT revenue situation hasn't improved for the better but I'll keep you posted if anything changes.

With all that being said, I'm excited for you to see all the cool stuff I'm working on, as the projects I mentioned earlier aren't the only ones I'm almost done with :)

oh yeah I've been slowly writing down all the names on the YUGO as well as adding you all to the TV on the wall (with various silly ways of displaying them).
