Just another quick update: Still working on sound effects, so I thought I'd share some more progress with you!

In the video you can hear the current version of the car and building destruction sounds: The ones for the cars I am particularly happy with, now!

The building SFX still need a whole lot of work, however; it's a start, but I really need to get those right...

On top of that, I'm struggling with the FMOD setup (the system for authoring/playing the sound effects): The way it works now there's often too many sounds playing at once, which means they cut each other off or some sounds simply don't get played at all—which can be very noticeable... so there's still a lot I have to learn about how FMOD works and how I can optimize, uh, all of this.

My goal is to get all the basic SFX done, this month still. Afterwards, I want to continue setting up the Steam shop page, as well as figure out details and such for patron early-access. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Speaking of Steam...

While the shop page isn't finished yet, I can already test Steam versions of Pawperty Damage. And I am happy to report that Steam's Remote Play feature works with the game!

If you are not familiar with Remote Play, the way it works is this: The game screen is streamed from the host's PC to the other players, via the internet, and they can play the game as if they were playing it locally, in the same room.

This allows to play local multiplayer games, such as this, with Steam friends all over the world. Cool bonus: The remote players do not have to own a copy of the game or have it installed, at all!

The next-generation online gaming experience, powered by Steam™

...okay, it may not look totally 100% amazing, but there's ways to improve the stream quality, I'm sure. The screenshot above is probably the worst-case scenario, really. Either way, you technically can play the game online—yay!
