Simply one of the greatest performances of all time, regardless of genre. Absolutely cannot wait until Maxxxine which takes places after X. Rewatching X after this movie is also great because there are a lot of things that tie into this movie. For example in X when she killed the blonde girl and she told her that she hates blondes. Now in this movie you see her getting rejected for not being blonde and her blonde sister in law getting the part. Giving that scene in X so much more context. There are a bunch of things like that connect to X. By the way incase you didn't know, you mentioned the kill scene in X where the scene turns red. It actually turned red because the blood splattered on the headlights so the light was shining through the red blood which made everything look red. So creative. You might have already realized that but I didn't catch that myself the first time I watched it.

The only movie that has given me recurring nightmares in at least 30 years. And I'm watching it again. The axe chase/walk is fecking horrible. I don't know why it got me so badly, but it genuinely did.
