We watched Mission: Impossible on Paramount+

@Nikki&Steven I'm glad y'all mentioned "Face/Off". It's the same director for both films. John Woo loves his slow-mo and over-the-top action sequences.

My first time ever watching IM2 in full. I saw the beginning of the movie one time where it's revealed the villain is wearing a mask of Ethan Hunt, but for some reason I don't remember, I stopped watching. I just remembered the Metallica music video "I Disappear" where they show scenes of Ethan Hunt mountain climbing and other scenes here and there from the movie. Best car chase scene one year before The Fast and the Furious. A lot of goofy shit, but luckily it didn't ruin the movie. Tom Cruise should play more villain roles. I know he's a villain in real life but the scenes of him as the bad guy disguised as him, he has good villain eyes. At the end of the movie where Hunt jump kicks the bad guy, if you looking closely in the slow motion, Tom Cruise breaks character because he thought he kicked the stunt guy too hard and hurt him.
