I didn't see that bathroom scene between Chibs and Juice as anything to admire tbh, rather than Chibs telling Juice that he or the club don't care about the black thing... he moves the goal post for him and is like "nah, you're hispánic, and your paperwork says it." They don't handle mental health well, or their prejudices. And for anyone who doesn't believe SOA is racist, they're modeled after the Hell's Angels MC which was a neo nazi group in its earliest days. Not to mention the amount of racial slurs used by every single member when dealing with blacks, asians and hispanics. No slurs towards the Russians or Irish by comparison though.

The fact that SOA was based on Hell's Angels was the reason I didn't watch it when it was airing and only looked at it later to see if they ignored the racist part of their ideology which they didn't. The amount of racial slurs used is a non-issue for me (They're a racist biker gang, how are they supposed to talk.) It's a great drama with some of my all-time favorite performances. I don't take shows/movies and music lyrics literally.
