I'm glad y'all are enjoying the show. Whenever you can, you guys should check out The Shield. Kurt Sutter who wrote and created this created that series as well. A lot of cast members throughout the seasons of SOA like Agent Kohn are from The Shield.

Kind of got the impression nikki struggling with some elements of the show. Just remember these guys are criminals. They are not good people. That being said im loving this journey cant wait till next week!

Steven has a great handle on Jax. Seems to get him as a character. And his heart and relationship with the club. I was waiting for Nik to lose it over the baby’s room! Sick creep. Jax handling him is epic. He’s in the same category of Uhtred, Jon, and Daemon for me. My “dude” list 😍 excited for the rest of the season!

As someone else mentioned above, the next one is one of my favorites as well. Can't wait! Love the double drops! I'm sure someone else has mentioned it, but Taylor Sheridan, who plays Deputy Hale, is the creator/writer/producer of all the Yellowstone shows. I know you're not reacting to those but just adding a fun fact lol Enjoying this ride w/you!

It’s funny I was thinking the same thing. Wondering if she’d watch if they hadn’t committed. But she seemed more at ease this episode. It’s a crass show. Not sure another way to describe it.

It’s so wild how he went and made a mega-verse of amazing storytelling! He loved being on this show but it paid no money. He couldn’t support his family.

The one thing Steven mentions in his reaction is that he likes how the show unfolds. How the information is dolled out. I do too! One of my favourite aspects of Sons. You can tell it’s a very thought out series. I think the creator & writers of SOA are so brilliant in that you know they have a grand plan for the show. An overarching one, one for the whole of the seasons & then each episode gets its moments to stand alone. It’s really smart. On other shows you can tell when writers/creators struggle to come up with ideas or when they’ve run out of steam or if it’s continued on longer than it should have. But not SOA! There is a plan.

We can't get Hulu here in Australia so I'm having to try and watch along using a streaming service available here, and for some reason I can barely ever get things to sync up properly ahaha.

The Shield definitely fits right in with the other content they’ve watched. Such a great show. Definitely well worth it for them to add to the queue of shows to watch.

SoA can be absolutely brutal at times. Because the MC is the main focus and our main characters, you find yourself rooting for them without really thinking about just how brutal, murderous and bad they really are as people.

Exactly what im getting at. I love this show but at times i have to allow myself to be ok at being disappointed with my characters but then have to accept they are terrible people.

Yep, exactly. We see them doing these heinous things, firearm trafficking, drug trafficking, etc. and we scowl and get this sick feeling in our stomachs. However, at the same time, we say “But I love these guys!” and so we just completely overlook all of the mayhem lol Same exact thing with Walter White and Jesse in Breaking Bad.
