You could probably tell in the actor's physical growth that there was quite a jump since the last season due to Covid

Matty B.

The young Lloyd is actually older Lloyd' real life son. Perfect casting!

Stormntx

That was country superstar Lainey Wilson!! Love her

Matty B.

It's the same actor playing Carter. He just hit a big growth spurt. Season 4 wrapped filming in November 2020 and filming for season 5A began in June 2022.

You guys still have it wrong. Although I agree it was a bit confusing, Jamie was never involved with the hit on the Dutton's. Garrett orchestrated the whole thing behind his back. Beth just threatened Jamie with ultimatum's because she was saying the fact that : A) He found out and didn't kill Garrett on his own - John would send Rip to kill him B) He had Rip's baby aborted and Beth sterilized - Beth would send Rip to kill him. Basically she scared him and forced him to kill Garrett so she could have the evidence for blackmail. Also, the guy in prison was talking about when Kayce had Jamie go talk to him to find out it was Garrett in the first place. They never met before then. That part was not too clear when he mentions talking to the "lawyer" during the conjugal visit. Hope this helps!!

Annika

That is what i thought too, Jamie was never involved in the hit, he just went to confront Garrett in prison

Annika

And Garrett only said Jamie was there, not that he was part of it.

I knew the ending was going to get you emotional Nikki. I knew it was coming and I still teared up. 😥

Season 4 was great, totally disagree saying it’s the weakest season. Yeah and Jamie was never involved in the Hit, that was all his dads doing on his own.

Eric Royer

describing the difference between someone from England and someone from the USA...Americans think 100 years is a long time and the British think 100 miles is a long distance

nikkistevenreact

No, doesn't really clear things up but we will take your word for it. When dude in the jail "the lawyer" as the one who set it up, that seemed pretty clear but guess not.

Joe

Its not his real life wife but it is Lainey Wilson who is a famous country singer. I was going to say this series will wreck you but i didnt realise it happened this episode.

Stanley Livingston

Jaime didn’t order the hit. It was all his dad.

Stanley Livingston

He said the lawyer came to meet him. Beth was mad bc after hearing that she knew Jamie knew his dad did the hit but didn’t tell them or do anything about it.

Dallas Adams

If you watch it back he says he told the lawyer “the order came in and I sent it out. To me it was just business.”Then Beth shows him a picture of Jamie on her phone and says “this lawyer” and he says “yeah, that’s the one” he never says Jamie set it up. Again, they are referring to when Kayce sent Jamie to meet him to find out who ordered the hit. The only reason I think it matters is because it totally changes Jamie’s character arc and the storyline if he actually set it up vs if he didn’t.

Cowboy

Just want to touch the fact that “baby Loyd” is Loyd’s IRL son

Carter.. played by Finn Little.. is the same actor in S5a. just hit a big growth spurt lol.. I thought the same thing too when I first saw him.. such a cool charater. It broke my damn heart towards the end though with Monica and Tate and all..I kinda cried.. not the first time with this show lol..

LaceUpHockey

The hustle is on guys, Season 6 comes out in less than 3 weeks.

Jaime is an ultimate coward, he didn't set up the hit. He didn't even have the guts to kill his father when he first confronted him about setting up the hit after his visit to the prison. He kills out of desperation like the reporter and Beth blackmailing him. I have disliked him from the beginning because he has this woe-is-me attitude like he didn't have it good growing up or have a good position at life now. And no loyalty! Finding out he was adopted and he right away turns his back to the family he has had his whole life, what an ungrateful brat. He could have been in foster care or something instead of a nice big farm and a well off family.
