It takes place after gen v. Ashley thanked homelander for saving her at god U in the beginning. And butcher found out about the virus in the end credit scene, it works on super just not strong enough for homelander yet

Cool first episode, more of a slow cook, so we get up to speed with everyone's motivation right now. Sage is a great new addition, adding brains to Homelanders "legacy mission". Well, Caesar certainly is one fucked up ambition, going to be interesting to see how they play the masses.
