I put a spell on you 'cause you're mine, You better stop the trying to take the Cursed the disad like you do I ain't lyin', no, I ain't lyin' Great. Your player wants to take the Cursed disadvantage. Is he trying to pull a fast one or does he have a reason in his backstory for it? You as a GM can just say "No" and move on...but wouldn't be more fun if you let them take it? You'll need to enforce it properly and that can be hard when the disadvantage basically says "Screw them over all the time!" That can take time away from the other players if you're not careful. So what would I do? Well, I never thought you'd ask... http://www.ravensnpennies.com/2015/03/gamemasters-guidepost-i-put-spell-on-you.html#.VRs6W_nF_Cs

Ravens N' Pennies: Gamemaster's Guidepost: I Put a Spell on You

Note: I commented on a forum thread about the Cursed disadvantage a while back and though I'm loathe to do a lot of cross-posting, I think this is one of the times I just swallow that bitter pill and do it. I've added a bit to my thoughts from there.
