Sha na na na - sha na na na na Every morning about this time The cleric gets me out of my bed a-crying Delver, get a job! "But my job is to adventure!" he cries. "But you haven't gone underground in weeks!" she says. "Ever since that wereworm in the Caverns of Death..." he replies. "Then you must get a job until I can get a cleric to cast Cure Madness!" Jobs. Can you think of anything more boring than holding down a 9 to 5, while trying to be a adventurer? Well..not really, but even old-school gaming had ways of making money without actually killing things and looting crypts. It might work for some games - might not work for others. The GM gets to decide, but here are some quick rules for using jobs in Dungeon Fantasy. http://www.ravensnpennies.com/2015/01/gamemasters-guidepost-delver-get-job.html#.VMp7f2jF_Cs

Ravens N' Pennies: Gamemaster's Guidepost: Delver, Get a Job!

Dungeon Fantasy very explicitly ignores the rules for jobs. It's about adventuring after all, not boring day to day life - that's for villagers. Still, Dungeons and Dragons (especially 2nd edition) had rules for working the forge or weaving baskets when your character wasn't adventuring.
