Lo, I have been working in the mines of the Asus to transform this meager writing into something useful. I've been running a Dungeon Fantasy game for a bit, and one of the things I've discovered is that if run the right way it is way to simulate what Dungeons and Dragons should have always been. In short, my players love it...and so do I. So I've been kicking around a few ideas for this campaign frame I wrote up (think Lawrence of Arabia meets a spaghetti western with a dash of the first Indiana Jones movie and a heavy dose of 16th century Europe and you got a vague idea) and one that came up a few times is the idea of a flying carpet. So, of course, I had to expand it, right? It's what I do... Note: the cost for these objects uses the Dungeon Fantasy standard and might need to be changed for other campaign frames. http://www.ravensnpennies.com/2014/12/gurps101-dungeon-fantasy-and-flying.html#.VIDyFDHF8ZM

Ravens N' Pennies: GURPS101: Dungeon Fantasy and Flying Carpets

So I've been running a game for a while now - it's a helluva lot more fun than I would have ever thought! - and one of the things that's popped up twice is the flying carpet ( Dungeon Fantasy 8: Treasure Tables, p. 39).
