I'm new to your reactions! I actually found you from searching for someone reacting to Alias and now I've caught up to the most recent one. I've always told my friends to watch Alias, but it's really fun to be able to watch someone seeing it for the first time and enjoying the same parts I enjoyed when I first watched it. Hopefully, once you get going again I'll be able to comment once they're uploaded. Back when the show was first airing, I was pretty prolific over on Livejournal within the Alias fandom and was the creator and organizer for an Alias Character Soundtrack project and for Operation: Alias which was a full series breakdown. Fun fact! The opening for 2x13 with the lingerie was because the episode aired right after the Superbowl. ABC gave them that time slot and they decided to try and hold onto that audience as best they could with Jennifer Garner in hardly anything. I'm a pretty big encyclopedia for this show, so if there's ever anything you're confused about - I'll be more than happy to help clear things up!

I just discovered your Patreon and have been enjoying your reactions. I hope this is not the last Alias video you post. The rest of season 2 is great and the season 2 finale, The Telling, is not just considered the best Alias episode ever, but also one of the best TV episodes all time. Phase One also is one of Alias' best. As Christina explains, it aired after the Super Bowl to take advantage of the expected large audience (hence, the lingerie opening). Unfortunately, that Super Bowl went into overtime, so Alias did not air until after midnight on the East Coast. Another fact about the episode - it was supposed to air after Double Agent - but JJ Abrams changed the order believing Phase One would be easier for the audience to follow. The fact that they hoped the episode would be seen by new viewers also explains why there is a bit of a rehash of the show's premise and an explanation of SD-6 is at the beginning. Coming after Double Agent would have made the Francie reveal make more sense, but it also works as an introduction to the new phase of Sloane's plan.
