I'd forgotten what a strong season this was! Lena Olin coming onboard really upped everyone's game. In real life, they probably would've had full face masks when they were in Siberia but directors don't like to cover the actors faces. This show shot in Los Angeles, so I'd be willing to bet that was all fake snow surrounding them.
