This might be my favorite Felicity episode. I love ALL the things with “Meggy.” It’s clearly a turning point for her and Felicity. And I love how Felicity plays along even under pressure from Megan’s father. She gets so wound up and everything, yet she has never really given a sh*t about Megan’s WHOLE THING ... which is probably exactly what Megan needs in a friend. About Julie’s mother ... I think that when this came out it was still kind of a trend or fad for adopted youth and young adults to seek out their birth parents. It was controversial for awhile because for decades before, adoption was held to be almost a sacred trust, never to be revealed. Then laws and practices loosened up, which made some people happy, but terrified others. I think we are seeing that play out here.
