I love this show. Totally british, totally accurate haha. Personally I love s3 and s4 the best, but I really enjoy this show and hope you'll continue with it lol! xx

I didn’t really get into Skins when it first aired, but it held a certain appeal because it was set and filmed in my home town… in fact, they filmed some of the scenes right outside my university department while I was studying for my masters degree :). Random fact: while he was starring in the show, Mike Bailey, who played Sid, continued to work at the Topshop store in our city centre :). Oh, and to clear up any confusion, there isn’t actually a character called Maxine… the character is called Maxxie (the tap-dancer). There are also a lot of now-famous faces in this show: - Tony was played by BAFTA nominee Nicholas Hoult (About A Boy, X Men franchise, Warm Bodies) - Anwar was played by BAFTA winner, and Oscar and Golden Globe nominee, Dev Patel (Slumdog Millionaire, Lion, The Last Airbender, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel) - Tony’s sister was played by Kaya Scodelario (Maze Runner films, Pirates of the Caribbean 5, Netflix’s Spinning Out) - The actors who played Chris and Cassie are now most well-known for their roles in Game of Thrones - There’s also a character in the first couple of seasons called ‘Posh Kenneth’ who was played by BAFTA winner, and Oscar and Golden Globe nominee, Daniel Kaluuya (Black Mirror, Get Out, Black Panther, Kick Ass 2)... who was also a head staff writer for the show.
