I believe the problem with Voodoo is that they kind of induced him to enroll at their school specifically to play football. High Schools aren’t allowed to recruit players like colleges or the pros are. You’re supposed to make the best of the team you have made up of people who happen to live there or move there on their own. But Buddy Garrity arranged housing and a job for Voodoo’s parents, which is why he signed up with the team. Coach didn’t do it himself, but he knew it was happening.
