When you say he's making a Youtube video I had to laugh. This episode pre-dated Youtube by about 2 years.

I’ve always understood Andrew’s story here as a kid of rebuke to nerd obsession with genre adventure stories, like Buffy itself. It’s a reminder that not everything is a “story” to be observed from the outside and critiqued. Reality is reality, and you’re either in it and taking it seriously or not.
