Are we supposed to wonder if Luke heard their conversation there at the end? Sorry if that's spoilery, but I simply don't know if it's spoilery, because I don't know this series as well as many others.

Fun fact about the character Paris: The actress who plays her, Lisa Weil, audition for the character Rory. Although the cast directors and showrunner didn't think she was the right actress for Rory, they still wanted her on the show. So they created the character of Paris just for her.
