Ran into a bunch of technical difficulties so this got delayed a bit.

Not super happy with the render result, textures and eyes especially have some flicker that I couldn't remove, I know they are related to ue4's raytracing and virtual textures but that didn't help me find a way to fix it.
I also discovered that alembic geometry caches, the format used to transfer characters from 3d software to engine, only supports 1 uv set which is a problem and why I couldn't use wetmaps for this one. Another extra annoying issue I found is one where all moving trees/foliage had dublicate static "ghosts" appear when I used raytracing for translucency, which was necessary for at least decent looking fluid. You can see this during the last two shots, the big tree behind wyverns has dublicate branches and some of the tall grass is moving while others are completely static. There were some options to get rid of this but it made the scene super slow and those options didn't exist for foliage painted on terrain.
Due to all the issues I discovered while rendering this + to the inherit lacks of a game engine I may just go back to regular render engine. If render times get unbearable then one thing I can do is lower render resolution from 1080p to 720p, but that would be the last option as having access to that high res is tier 2 perk and people are paying for it.
