You know what is funny? watermarks, also predictions.

Under JohnDoe1970 I bitched on pixiv (TWO YEARS AGO), that AI would destroy the site because of CP content, it did, they disabled Paypal altogether and the site went to shit (not sure if still disabled tho).

I predicted that AI would be used as a aid for artists, it did.

I also predicted that AI would be used to aid in many 'real' areas, like medicine, or evil shit like scamming people and AI bots pretending to be people, IT DID!

Everything that come out my my mouth is the absolute and ultimate truth, my latest prediction which WILL happen is that 3D and 2D digital artists will be replaced by AI Artists to CUT COSTS, remember companies to NOT CARE about your feelings, they care about how fast you work, how fast you produce, is bussiness to then and nothing else, that's what AI's for, and how fast it is improving? sorry son, your days as an artist are counted, unless of course you adapt.

Now for my latest prediction which WILL come true, AI Artist WILL be a thing, I can't predict the time, but I say up to a maximum of two years depending how good Pony V7 (If released) or how many big brains decided to join forces and release a local model more powerful than say Pony.

As for watermarks, here is the thing, currently there is a BIG stigma going on with AI Artists and 2D/3D aritsts, they claim that AI Art is not art yet they jerk off to it (I do to my own lol), so why not enough people are watermarking their work now? well fear of being judged, trash talk and all that stuff, has nothing to do with law, why? because law can't be enforced IF

You aren't stupid enough to say which model you used.

You aren't stupid enough to say 'hey I generated this and didn't not alter it in anyway'.

So what prevents people from watermark AI generated art? fear, fear of judgement, early adopters always take the flak, does not matter which area you work, if you can produce X faster using new tool then you bet your sorry ass that whoever is producing the same content but can't have new tool WILL bitch about it.

You know who didn't got salty being replaced? work horses, their backs said 'thank you cars and trucks, now we can finally lead the good life', but as humans we are to rational or to emotional, never a good balance of both.
