Laurie, Alice, and Jen just keep getting bigger and bigger... so it might not be surprising that eventually they would have to deal with some darker consequences of their size. This was a special commission from a reader who wanted to see the girls deal with some DIRE consequences of their exploding weights. WARNING!!! This story includes health issues like diabetes, breathing difficulties, heart issues, unfitness, and joint pain.... and future installments get much DARKER so please DO NOT READ if you are disturbed or triggered by those dark themes. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

ALSO important, this story is noncanonical. I wouldn't want anything too bad to happen to my gals for real.

ALSO ALSO IMPORTANT: I know that this story will probably be too dark for some readers so I will be posting a second, more typical story later this month... for people who prefer lighter fare!

I'm waiting for the next one, as this one does not spark joy ^^

I know this may not be everybody's cup of tea, but god damn does this part really work. I mentioned in the last part how much Alice and Jen's reactions to their sudden problems were really tracking along as an interesting detail, with Jen's part-denial, part-apathy and Alice's self-awareness and addiction continues. Jesse here is an excellent addition, and she does a great job trying to see how even despite how deliriously obese Alice is, she now draws pitty more than mockery. Her struggles with the stairs is really interesting too, something which is quite standard for the Alice saga, but here hints at much darker undertones. The mention of Nurse Hopkins coming back in the middle too was a really smart addition too, seeing how she's basically given up on trying to save our ill-fated fatsos. Laurie was a classic here too, and I look forward to hopefully seeing more of her predicament next part. Her hedonism is amazing, and showing how she's taken the lead and her greed and gluttony way exceeds what Frank and Abida want is a cool turn. This is just a really great foray into a new field of your writing we've not really seen in detail, and to be honest, I think it's a really great showcase of that. Your work as a writer is, and continues to be, excellent.

Another great piece - maybe it's my own preoccupations, I hope there's a bit more Laurie in the next one, but this is fantastic!
