The gallery is a new location that can be found inside the castle, and as the name suggests, it serves as the gallery room of the game where player's can watch all of the erotic pixel art animations in one convenient place.
To unlock it, players must first navigate Maya to enter the gallery room. After that, you'll be able to teleport there whenever you wish (there is a new save point inside) and this will also unlock the gallery button in the title menu, therefore pressing that button will load the game directly into the gallery room.
There are 8 hidden doors inside the main room, and each door corresponds to one of the 8 "biomes" of the game (beach, forest, castle, etc). These doors are initially hidden, and once Maya defeats the respective boss of each biome then that door will appear in the gallery beneath the appropriate painting.
Revealing each door like this unlocks that respective biome to be selected in the animation viewer and arena spawner.
Speaking of which, while inside the gallery the animation viewer and arena spawner can be accessed by pausing the game and selecting the new option called "Gallery" in the pause menu.
This brings up a new window that contains all of your unlocked biomes and their respective creatures. To start viewing the animation, simply navigate in that menu and select your preferred characters and scenes.
Finally, there is an arena to the left of the gallery room where you can spawn any of the game's enemies. It follows the same rules of the animation viewer, but while inside the area the menu will instead spawn the selected enemy.

Other than the gallery, two new enemies join in on the fun in this update. One is the Medusa, which can apply a nasty debuff on Maya to make her stiff and then rock hard. The other is the Fairy of Sorrow which is a new type of spawner enemy.
As I keep aiming towards my goal of completing the game this year, I'll slowly shift my focus from drawing/creating more new enemies every update, to focusing on the game's systems and mechanics. There are reworks to the game's engine that I've been meaning to do for a long while now, but couldn't because I had to keep pumping out new enemies.
To be clear, there are still more new enemies that I want to add until the final version, it's just that as opposed to every update in the past coming with 3 to 5 new enemies, in this final stretch of development I have to reduce that amount per update in order to focus more on the gameplay parts. That said, it is still possible that some updates will contain lots of enemies too, but just that frequency will be reduced.
Well, all in all I'm really glad that I was finally able to get the gallery system up and running, and I'm looking forward to getting back into the code of the game to not only rework some elements of the gameplay, but also to start introducing some new features that are missing and that will enhance the overall game experience.
