Hello everyone!

I've finally finished work on the boss fight and I've reached a point where I'm satisfied with the results. Seems like boss fights will always take more time to implement as I have to code their unique attack patterns and behaviors from scratch, unlike with the common enemies where I already have a base framework that I can reuse for new ones and then just make minor adjustments to create unique behaviors.

This boss is able to dodge or assume a defensive position as a reaction to Maya's actions, and even counter-attack so he will try to respond accordingly and provide a more involved challenge, but it took some time to figure out a decent balance between making his reactions feel dynamic while not making the fight too hard or obnoxious.

While the gameplay part is fully completed (the boss can be fought, defeated, rematches, etc), I'm now working to finish the the juicy part, that is the ero scenes of this fight, so unfortunately I won't be able to release the new version just yet since I want to deliver the whole package with the ero scenes included. 

Speaking of ero scenes, as it is know his tags are vanilla/male and roughplay. When I was discussing and brainstorming ideas with the patron who came up with his concept, some interesting types of scenes where considered, such as having the boss be able to call reinforcements during the fight and then have those enemies participate in the ero scene with the boss, like a group scene.

I've also received some good suggestions from others, notably one idea to have Maya be transformed into a cowgirl (much like for the werewolf boss she becomes a weregirl), but ultimately it was not chosen. But there will be plenty of opportunities for more transformations scenes in the future for new enemies so no worries here.

Finally what was decided is that the boss will have 3 different positions that he will perform with Maya. The twist being that if Maya is defeated in battle, the boss will seamlessly cycle between these 3 scenes non-stop with appropriate transition animations, in a full show of his virility. Suffice to say that given his size difference compared to Maya, fans of belly bulge/inflation will enjoy the display, and one hopes that Maya will have the stamina required to keep up with that intense "love".

That means that there's gonna be a lot of animation frames necessary for this, given that I have to depict not only 3 different smut poses, but also the transition frames moving from one to the other so it will take a bit more time to complete. 

It's gonna be a ton of pixels to move but I'm hoping to be able to finish all of them in about two weeks. Well those frames won't make themselves so I'll be going right back to work now to finish them!

Damn you are amazing, such a hard working gal! Hehehehe trully an inspiration, I certainly will love it when it eventually comes out~ PS: one suggestion for a scene, maybe in future boss or just enemy, have a name with a huge shaft completely impale Maya. Not in a gruesome way of course, but that is a kink I never see being implemented and animated in any game. Would be awesome in your artstyle~

Whoa, he's a pretty quick boss for one of his stature. And from what you mentioned of his ero scene, I'm excited to see it all come to fruition. Though once I see the ero scene and read all of his attacks, I'll be as relentless as their H-scene to defeat him.

Hey, this game is awesome, keep it up. In case you're looking for inspiration or ideas, here's some: 1. In one game (Lab2, I think it's called), the protagonist needs to press a button to progress, and to do that she needs to lean over this barrier. When she presses it, the barrier closes, making a stuck-in-wall situation with an ambush. Could be a minigame where you need to press the correct button from several in the area to progress. 2. For NPCs, how about a merchant (or healer, or shaman) that for some money will give Maya a temporary stat boost or maybe heal that she can get from a hole of glorious nature?

Looks good! He moves fast for a man of his size, and seems to play very aggressively, which is pretty cool. I must say, the idea of a boss sharing scenes with minions sounds very good. Certainly would give us more things to watch ;) If I were to imagine it, a good way to implement it might be in the caves. A kobold boss (like a chief or shaman) could be great - they are individually quite weak compared to the other bosses so far, but make up for it with speed and the ability to call reinforcements of regular Kobolds. Regardless, I look forward to seeing how things go!

I'm late to this party but I second this idea! Lab2 was one of the best Ryona-type games I've ever played, and Maya's quickly shaping up to be among the best as well! I'd love to see something like this with our wayward redhead.
