Hi there!

This update contains the initial version of the Shop, as well as new dialogue for the witch shopkeeper: I've changed her name: before it was "Haruna" and now it is "Nene".

A new ero scene for the Medusa has been added, with the tag of vore/absorption. It has a twist ending for it, with a fetish that I don't personally have, but figured I could add a spin on it and the Medusa was the perfect candidate for that. So now please stop asking for it anymore LOL

Other than those two main features, the rest of the update is mostly bug-fixing and assorted small QoL changes. Please refer to the text file at the bottom for more details.

All in all, it's a smaller update size this month, but I managed to get past a big hurdle for me, which was adding the shop functionality, so now it's much easier to just polish and improve upon it, as well as creating all of the new items that I'll be adding into the shop on next month's update.

Speaking of new items, if you have any suggestions regarding interesting items, behavior or mechanics, now it is a good time to write your suggestion here, because that's what I'll be working on right now.

Here's what I have planned in a broad sense (all subject to change of course):

CONSUMABLES: Things that Maya will use on herself. Potions with a benefit and a detriment, so for instance a potion that boosts Maya attack or speed, but makes her drunk, or ver lustful and often will throw herself at enemies. Consumables will provide a strong but temporary effect, with potential side-effects.

GEAR: Things that Maya will use on others or on the map. A powder to throw at enemies, it will make then enraged (stronger in general, chasing Maya non-stop) but on kill they guarantee bonus essence drop. Just don't let Maya be ero grabbed by them!! Strong bombs or mines for boss encounters and other weapons to throw at enemies (think ghosts n goblins lances, axes), a shovel to unearth treasure.

ACCESSORIES: Rings, pendants, etc that Maya can wear. Those will have to be equipped in one of the 8 belt slots to activate their effect. It can range from simple passive effects (+10% attack, +100HP, etc) to increasing essence drop chance, a ring that shows secrets on the minimap, a ring that grants double jump, or makes the dash longer, alters the behaviors of Maya's other skills, etc. Some accessories can be cursed too, having some kind of detriment or side-effect.

The game is still technically in alpha, so everything is subject to change, and I'll be adding or revising those items as I go along. But if you have a great idea, feel free to share!

Ok, just played through the new update, and I wasn't too sure what to expect for the new ero grab based on the hints. The scene itself was pretty good, and I think the end result was made comedic and cartoonish enough to not be off putting. As for Nene, it seems like her shop is working fine at the moment. She's being a respectful business witch and giving me what I buy, lol. For the counter in the bad ends, I think it could still use some work. It sort of shows how long the end is, but it doesn't really tell when the end will do its loop with no more new dialogue. Maybe something like a small text box you can show and hide? Like it could have game over on it with a little sentence? Similar to some grabs that lead to a final end. Like say for Kaly (centauress) it could be something like: GAME OVER Maya is now Kaly's loving degenerate wife Other than that, I don't have much else at the moment. But yeah, nice update here, overall~

Alrighty then, lets see if I can think of some item ideas... Well, definitely a key item that lets you search for hidden/unobtained items on the map. Of course this would be later in the game. Maybe it can be combined with a map item that lets you see the layout of the levels, for more precise searching. Maybe the map item can tell you how many more powerups and other key items are in the level, while the tracking item can show you where they are on the map. Perhaps a Glass Cannon gimmick item that give you an extreme boost in attack, but at the cost of only having 1 HP. Can probably be overpowered if used with the invincibility shield, but one wrong move will end your adventure quick. Maybe something like a pleasure machine that you can have in the tower area, and interacting with it will let you play a mini-game to farm essences. Of course, something in the late game to make grinding for currency easier. Can have some really expensive items that this can help with, and maybe a very difficult platforming challenge or boss or both in order to obtain it. A gimmick throwable weapon that's a screen wipe. Some dust that makes you invisible to enemies. Enemies won't attack you, but at the cost of having to strip naked, and also still being susceptible to being grabbed. So you'd have to be careful not to run into them. An accessory that can reflect enemy projectiles, maybe back at other enemies. Like the Franklin Badge Another accessory that makes you immune to stage hazards that don't grab you (in case stage hazards that DO grab you are a thing that happens in the future) Hmm, I think I've made a big enough wall of text. I'll definitely throw more ideas if I can think of some good ones, but I'll leave it here for now.

Oh this is my time to shine ✨✨✨ I LOVE designing items n mechanics! 🤣. Dash costs half energy or even less, but you can no longer pass through enemies 😈 Speedrun strat? 😅 Mysterious item that is cursed; all non-boss, non-stationary enemies are spawned TWICE. No upside. Cannot unbind until after you beat an unbeaten boss / enough time passes.😈 Same cursed deal as above, except each sword swing costs a trickle of energy 😈 (Now that I think about it, these cursed items would probably be better off randomly found than bought with currency 🙁) Some bonus to attack + move speed, but all enemy wind up animations before attacks are much faster!

Could have a mystery potion that has a variety of effects, including ones from other potions. If I could make a not-at-all selfish suggestion, one effect could be: Gutslut/Gutslut Potion. For x amount of time, vore grabs immediately defeat Maya.

Hmm speaking of cursed accessories why not have some that TF Maya. Alot of us like seeing her getting TFed by monsters and play to specifically get certain scenes of it happening. This would allow us to see the same form throughout the game to enjoy. Drop rewards or a random TF like those late game robots do could work and have a potion to cure it if it's undesired imo. It could also lead to special scenes with that type of monster and/or a special ending as a Monster Queen that gives the finger to the royal plotters who sent her to the island in the beginning. Obviously if it's too hard or makes no sense lore wise just skip it.

When using the restore durability debug, it increases max Health and Spirit. Not sure if it's a bug or intended, just thought I'd bring it up ;)

Thanks for the report! It's what I'd call an intended-bug lol These debug buttons will be gone in the near future, and I'll also do a full rebalance/polishing pass to allow for proper in-game ways to restore durability, so yeah, for now in this alpha testing it's janky that.
