Hi there!
This update contains the initial version of the Shop, as well as new dialogue for the witch shopkeeper: I've changed her name: before it was "Haruna" and now it is "Nene".
A new ero scene for the Medusa has been added, with the tag of vore/absorption. It has a twist ending for it, with a fetish that I don't personally have, but figured I could add a spin on it and the Medusa was the perfect candidate for that. So now please stop asking for it anymore LOL
Other than those two main features, the rest of the update is mostly bug-fixing and assorted small QoL changes. Please refer to the text file at the bottom for more details.
All in all, it's a smaller update size this month, but I managed to get past a big hurdle for me, which was adding the shop functionality, so now it's much easier to just polish and improve upon it, as well as creating all of the new items that I'll be adding into the shop on next month's update.
Speaking of new items, if you have any suggestions regarding interesting items, behavior or mechanics, now it is a good time to write your suggestion here, because that's what I'll be working on right now.
Here's what I have planned in a broad sense (all subject to change of course):
CONSUMABLES: Things that Maya will use on herself. Potions with a benefit and a detriment, so for instance a potion that boosts Maya attack or speed, but makes her drunk, or ver lustful and often will throw herself at enemies. Consumables will provide a strong but temporary effect, with potential side-effects.
GEAR: Things that Maya will use on others or on the map. A powder to throw at enemies, it will make then enraged (stronger in general, chasing Maya non-stop) but on kill they guarantee bonus essence drop. Just don't let Maya be ero grabbed by them!! Strong bombs or mines for boss encounters and other weapons to throw at enemies (think ghosts n goblins lances, axes), a shovel to unearth treasure.
ACCESSORIES: Rings, pendants, etc that Maya can wear. Those will have to be equipped in one of the 8 belt slots to activate their effect. It can range from simple passive effects (+10% attack, +100HP, etc) to increasing essence drop chance, a ring that shows secrets on the minimap, a ring that grants double jump, or makes the dash longer, alters the behaviors of Maya's other skills, etc. Some accessories can be cursed too, having some kind of detriment or side-effect.
The game is still technically in alpha, so everything is subject to change, and I'll be adding or revising those items as I go along. But if you have a great idea, feel free to share!
