Content

Hi friends,

This will be a bit of a different post than usual. If people are comfortable sharing (whether in the comments or in a private message), I am curious about what everyone's favorites are in relation to macro content! In other words, throughout your history of consuming macro stuff, what are some of your favorite producers, single videos, or models, and what do you like about what they do?

Awhile back I asked a similar question in regards to what people like about my own content, and now I am interested in learning about what everyone likes in regards to the things outside of my stuff that have stuck out to people. I know in some ways it's a difficult question to answer, because there may be too many to list, but I think it would be interesting to see what has led everyone here over the years!

Hmm - Though I already mentioned my fav. content, my OG favorite producer was BrattyFootGirls - Had a personal preference for where the content was one-on-one girl to tiny treatment, that way there was less transition time - problem is there's less time for story and the superb close-up shots that really set scale that comes from your stuff.

Aragono

I have to say I have alot of preferred content makers for this sort of genre, brattyfootgirls is definitely one I all ways look out for, mainly because of the quality of the micro content but I also like media impact since they've been around for ages so just like brattyfootgirls you know what your getting and it's usually good but these companies do work off customs mostly so the content does get a bit off track. Then there are the shall I say 'smaller' creators who do their own thing like Mant man, giantess Avenue, worlofpov, giantess productions, rrockbell and yourself godqueen i'm sure there is more but the thing is though all the smaller creators do the best work in my opinion because they ultimately focus on the genre more specifically and deliver a more refined product with the use of sfx and excellent camera work because I m definitely more into the atmosphere of this fetish and all these producers bring a cinematic style to it and I'm a huge movie buff so it definitely goes right down my alley so yeah.... I want to say more haha but I've said enough to get the Idea out of what I'm looking for.

Well thank you, that's definitely something I'm trying to be mindful of and to continue improving on (both story and scale). BFG has definitely made some solid contributions throughout the years (especially for someone without the fetish)! Not to mention, it always seems like he's trying to make improvements and never sorta resting on his laurels, which I respect. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for the write-up! That makes sense! BFG definitely has some utilized some nice micro SFX consistently throughout the years, and Media Impact has a big enough catalog to have something at some point that should appeal to almost everyone haha. In some ways, MI really paved the way for a lot of what is possible. I do agree with you about customs though, sometimes the hyper specificity does detract from me picking something up. Mant Man has such tremendous FX work, I think they have a super bright future if they continue in the coming years; GTS Ave has been a welcome addition to the community IMO. I've been impressed by how much output they've been putting out in conjunction with making each video creative and unique; WorldofPOV certainly grabs incredible views, although admittedly I don't grab as much of their stuff, because it can be quite expensive per minute without previews; GTS productions has had some cool clips/scenarios/models over the years, although similarly, I tend to only grab some of their smaller clips for the price; I love Rrockbell's stuff. It's truly incredible how he shapes narratives and builds a sense of drama given the constraints of all of this. I can't believe he was giving those videos out for free! I remember the first time I stumbled upon "A Walk in the Woods" and was just absolutely floored. Definitely a huge influence for me, but at the same time, I also think I'm trying to do something slightly different (but in the same vein of wanting to make my clips feel like miniature stories as opposed to clips). But I think the biggest lesson I took away from rrockbell is that a giant's interactions with tinies are only as meaningful as how their relationship has been established beforehand!

Have you ever though about doing a giant couple sfx with jennifer rose? I would love to both of you stepping on tinies unaware and barefoot!

This might fall out of bounds of the discussion here, but a lot of the stuff I tend to like ends up being animated stuff. When done really really well, I find it better than any live content. There's not many I'd put in that category though - in fact AshkiiWolf and TheWiking2000 are the only ones I can think of. CGI just seems to be best at making them seem big, mostly because you can have an impossibly small camera lens to look out of. CGI might not be as realistic, but the level of realism is consistent. A tiny tank rumbling along a giant's hardwood floor looks perfectly in place because it's all rendered in the same virtual space with the same virtual lighting. As for live action, context is really important, so things like dialogue matter to me. Dialogue between from the tinies too. Anything that grounds what's happening. To that end ... GiantessAve/Roma does okay from what I've seen (mostly from the trailers). Antman/Mantworld does it too, but I often find the quality of the footage, effects, and editing kinda so-so. Which brings me to the biggest factor for me, which is "Cinematic!". Make it like a movie. Doesn't have to BE a movie, but as long as there's thoughtful editing and shots. Basically, don't just set the camera down and step on a bunch of toys. I don't think we necessarily want realism, we want authenticity. I want it to feel like a movie more than I want it to feel like someone recorded actual tiny people with their camcorder. Which is why rrockbell also ranks pretty high - he had pretty poor quality footage and cheap simple props, but with awesome shots, editing, sound, and music, he made something great and cinematic. Best ever live action stuff though? Tristan's work with GiantessKatelyn and GiantessLove. I think he was the plenum. He had the effects down, editing, lighting, shots, writing, sound, music. Awesome stuff, a shame he's not around anymore. But all that said, I think if I had to choose one creator that did it all, it would be AshkiiWolf. His animations are beautiful. While a bit stylized, they're still more realistic than any other animations. The CGI lets him get those impossible shots with impossibly small virtual cameras that can go anywhere. He's done lots of his own work to get things like tongue textures to look ridiculously good - and far better than any live footage could capture. His music and sounds are also impeccable, with great booming effects that still have texture and don't end up being just "bass sounds". And using all those skills, he has a good sense of timing and suspense. It's late and much of that might be clumsy and incoherent, but hopefully it gets my thoughts across! For the record though, godqueen would be put up there around rrockbell.

So...kinda/sorta? In terms of SFX, I think that's out of the cards for me for quite a bit of time, outside of being able to pay someone or collaborate with an SFX artist. However, I have thought about doing couples themed content before. With Jennifer, I thought about doing one that wasn't necessarily "together" but that led into the other in terms of one fluid linear story. But thank you! There is not much couples content out there, so at some point I would like to incorporate that (even if it's not through the Patreon, since I don't think most folks are on this particular patreon for it).

2021-12-02 17:10:05 I think digital stuff is totally fair! You can actually mimic what a POV shot might look like that our current camera capabilities cannot (outside of building huge enormous sets). I forgot about the Giantess Love stuff actually! Yeah, it's a shame he's not around making stuff anymore. But I agree with you about rrockbell and attempting to make things feel "cinematic" as opposed to, like you said, just having one static closeup shot without any sense of time or reference to anything outside of itself. Thank you for the thoughtful commentary and reflections as always! And I appreciate you putting me within the same stratosphere <3
