Meet Rolf Amberthistle Took, Esq. (also known as “The Rat”), a well-known halfling grifter, con artist, forger and all-around second story man. The Rat’s amazing possessions include his sentient sword, the Ravener, and his suitcase that opens into a pocket universe. The Rat is smirking because he knows something you don’t and has gathered a crew of unlikely allies and henchmen, including:

Loyal Dog Rowsby Woof the permanently polymorphed wizard who talks goofily.

Henchman Konrad the wererat halfling. His long hairless tail gives his mental state away but his is usually glum anyway.

Elena the half-elf concubine who favors a rapier and a dirk, but also hides a poisoned hairpin in her blond tresses.

Foopad the awakened bronze golem bodyguard who wields six different blades to protect the Rat who released it from its original servitude.
