Okay so in conjunction with my earlier post, I'm gonna ask you guys what you'd want to see, which concepts make for good rewards for y'all, etc. please vote for whichever one you feel would make for the most appealing replacements for the current 5 and 10$ tier. There may also be new tier options added in at 2-3$

I'll probably end up implementing multiple options, but I want to gauge interest and see what people think about different options for different prices. Additionally, if you have any added suggestions, please leave them in the comments below: I'd like to brainstorm new ideas with y'all and work towards something that's both sustainable for me and worth the pledge for you guys.

The best use of your tiers here is what is known as "contest marketing." This has countless forms, but the two most popular on here are the raffle and voting. There is also a third, underutilized form that I think would be perfect for you, known as the "reverse auction." I can go into best practices in private, but to summarize: Raffles are best for collecting many donations of an amount that seems inconsequential to the donor. You can have more than one raffle with larger ticket prices going to larger prizes and also offer more tickets at higher tiers. Voting contests allow people more direct power over their money because they influence an outcome, rather than have a binary win or loss. Like raffles, higher tiers can also get more votes or access to more exclusive polls. Still, democracy becomes erratic as more people with dissimilar goals are involved. For this reason, votes should be valued a bit more than raffle tickets to keep a manageable number of people involved and make them feel their contribution means something. Both Raffles and votes risk having a negative effect as you get into higher donations, however. If I spend $5 and get 10 votes where $1 only gets me one vote, that feels like a deal. If I spend $20 to get 100 votes but my picks still lose, I feel like I've just tossed $20 in the trash. The solution to this is the Reverse Auction. Best at high tiers, but working at low ones as well, reverse auctions are basically buckets, similar to benchmark goals on Patreon, but more specific. Instead of saying, "if I make $500 more a month I'll make 1 more picture every month," you collect suggestions (or make a tier for offering them, similar to your old 3-chord tier) and then say "when this suggestion collects $500, I'll draw it!" Everyone who donates $10 or more can split their money in $10 increments across the drawings they want to see made. Pools persist across months, so money contributed is never lost, it just builds toward something they want, almost like the old concept of layaway. It is worth remembering that multiple contests may coexist, though the more you offer, the less any individual perk will shine. Again, I can help you with the organization of this via PM/Discord if you're interested.
