So... an idea just struck me. I wanted to see if this was a better option with you guys, as a lot of people seem unenthused by the idea of adoptables. And I get that; you're essentially paying for a gamble on whether or not i'll draw anything you like. So instead of that, what if I did something sort of akin to NinjaKitty's '123 squares'? If you don't know what those are, you can learn about them here: http://www.hentai-foundry.com/user/NinjaKitty/blogs/4647/123-Square-Prices Perhaps keeping the slot at 30$, and allowing you guys to give me three words, pairings, tags, themes, etc. and letting me run with it? I really want to give you guys art that you'll actually enjoy, while allowing myself some creative freedom so i'm not constantly having characters, pose, expressions, and environments dictated to me. As much as I enjoy doing commissions, I really need a break from it every once in a while to draw something I get to compose and put together myself. Do you guys think that'd be a better idea than the aforementioned adoptables? ugh... I really do hate that word, tbh. Sounds like something you'd find on Neopets. The only reason I thought about doing it is because it'd be sort of the reverse of a normal adoptable; instead of 'i drew this arbitrary number of characters now pay me to lay claim to one' it was 'you've paid me to draw a character for you, so i'll do one for everyone and let them pick'. I really wanted to keep something lower than my normal commission prices for those who can't afford it, but the sketches are just so unengaging for me because I have so many other finished projects elbowing them out of the way for time. I'm trying to find a happy medium where i can give you guys something of quality without burning a hole in your wallet. Same as before; if I decide to go with this, everyone currently at the 20$ level has the option to get this instead of their sketch for this month without the extra cost. please let me know what you think of this. I really want some feedback on this stuff so I can do something both feasible for me and that you guys can enjoy and feel like you got your money's worth.

Okay i like that idea, if only because I have a load of characters already to my name, haha. :) Sounds fun and gives a lot more freedom.

Yeah this definitely sounds like a better plan. You can even have an varying theme for each month to help mix it up even more. You get to set the guidelines for what you are wanting to draw, but we get to fill the details. Its almost like a art Mad Libs.

I do prefer that idea, yes. As you mentioned, adoptables were too much of a gamble (and some of us already have plenty of characters to work on).
