Hey everyone! (this is gonna be a long one, but it has some really important changes, so please make sure you read it all) I don't use this feed nearly enough, so I'm gonna try to fix that. This is a great and easy way to contact you all without waiting on messy e-mails and keep all my posts together (I still prefer to have commission info sent through e-mails, as archiving and sorting through those is easier) I'll be making quite a few changes to the pledges and rewards, so look through and make sure you know what's gon' happen. First: After this month, the 20$ pledge tier will be gone. This means everyone at that level right now will still get their sketches during the month of august, but after that, will NOT be able to pledge at that level. Second: in place of the old sketch tier is a new one: the 30$ adoptables! each month i will draw one character (of my own design, of course), and you can pick one to keep for yourself! all of the character designs will be uploaded to Drive, and you have free reign to get commissions, write stories, or do whatever you want with them. These will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis, probably done via comments on this page, so keep an eye out; the sooner you can lay claim to your favorite, the more likely it is you won't have to compete for them. for this month only, i'll be doing a special. since I was struck with this idea just today, and you guys' pledges at 20$ are locked in now, if you WANT to opt in to the first round of adoptables, you can do so at this level, and you'll have your first round to choose from by the end of august. Otherwise, you can get a sketch, just like you normally would. please message me on here or e-mail bakuhakudrawsthings@hotmail.com to let me know how many of you want to get an adoptable. Third: after the pledges for this month are processed, prices are going up a little. I really hate to do this; it sucks to be doing commissions at a certain price for so long and then suddenly shock you all with a price hike like this, but my time has been getting more strained, my bills are getting bigger, and the skill i've acquired over the past year has drastically changed the value I put on myself. Thus, after tomorrow, 1 character commissions are increasing to 75$, 2 characters are going to 125$, and the 3+ level is increasing to 175$. The amount of detail and time I put into every image I do has increased, and I really can't afford to put 8 hours into a 1 character commission, as I end up doing sometimes, if the payoff is going to work out to (barely) minimum wage. These changes will not take effect until the end of august, so again, if you're currently at any of the commission level tiers, this will not affect the charges that are being put through right now. I understand if some of you can't afford that or don't think it's worth it; i grudge nobody for dropping their pledges if this is the case. That's part of the reason I included the adoptable tier now, so you can still get finished art from me at a lower price. Fourth: the 5$ tier is eliminated, moving down to 3$, and the 3$ tier has been dropped to 1$. I really didn't think having my LOWEST pledge being more than a single dollar was very good form, and I want to make my art more accessible to those who can't spare more. So if you're at 3$ and want to stay there, you now get to download and pick through all my full-res TIFF files with layers intact, and if you were at 5$ before, please make sure to drop your pledge (unless you want to just hand me an extra 2 bucks a month. I won't complain.)
