Was this supposed to be posted??

Anonymous

Am I crazy or is this an old live show?? I really feel like I’ve heard this dnd court Edit: just read the full post and it is in fact an old episode 🙏🏾

Okay, thank you, I thought I was losing it after the horse question with both players in the audience.

Gearbox

Generous read, it does seem like the Thieves' Cant player didn't read the intro doc AT ALL, and that's a little rude. It seems like it could have been a cool puzzle and the DM put a lot of effort into making their rogues' abilities interesting, and they just didn't try at all.

Slashing damage can NOT be made non-lethal. Only bashing damage.

We are flying from KC to Denver to see you guys!! So excited!

In retrospect the croissants might be bad for audio? 😆

Meapyboy1234567

Oh i didn't know that they would re-release this to the main public feed, but i'm hapy that they did so now more people can know the full extent of all the bits they did.

on the hot dog debate: Joey Chestnut’s hot dog eating record is 76 dogs in 10 minutes. That’s 7.6 dogs/minute, or 0.76 dogs in 6 seconds. it’s probably not possible for an adventurer who has not trained in competitive eating to guzzle a glizzy AND swing a sword in the same round. I rest my case, your honor(s)

Drake White

Let’s fucking goooo boys I crashed my bike listening to this episode (I’m fine)

In response - But that's just him going for endurance. I bet if it was just a single dog he could eat it much quicker than his average over a whole 10 minutes Edit: YOUR HONOURS I WOULD LIKE TO CROSS EXAMINE THE EVIDENCE!! Looking at Mr Chestnut's most recent performance you can clearly see that they start at 2:20. https://youtu.be/5AI5nCkE1xM?t=140 Just a few seconds later we can see he is going for his second https://youtu.be/5AI5nCkE1xM?t=143 And by 2:26 (one round later) Joey has managed to eat two hotdogs, and look at his technique too. He could not only double guzzle glizzys but also cast a spell that didn't have a verbal component at the same time https://youtu.be/5AI5nCkE1xM?t=146 Here's a link to the screenshots https://imgur.com/a/uyMDtnJ He's not even the only one - In that last picture you can see 4 other people have too I unrest your case

Meapyboy1234567

But as OP said can an adventurer who has not trained in competitive eating eat one that fast?

Lmao I think the correct comparison for the gnome in the chest debate is not whether Murph would have killed Balnor in a closet, because Balnor is a Fighter, but whether Bernnan would have killed Gilear Faeth in a Van, and the answer is essentially yes.
