It's probably something that got mentioned somewhere many years ago, but the guy that plays Jaskier makes music professionally along with someone else as The Amazing Devil, and they are truly fantastic on a vibe similar to some of Emily's music.

I am so bummed right now. I’m sure a lot of people are happy, but I kinda paid for the boobs to recap a show I did not watch. It was mildly funny...but considering I had no point of reference since I didn’t watch the show...it was disappointing.

Emily brought up the Expanse and after season 1 plus I think season 2 premier it lost me. Know it is a good series just lost my interest. They also bring up Buffy so now I'm wandering if they've seen Firefly and Serenity. That's one mix bag review about fantasy done right I would love to hear.

Hey guys, great mixed bag! I think Jaskier was named as such because it is the Polish for Dandelion, which is of course the native language of the original writer :) Also, please watch Avatar, air bender series Murph (not the film), it is an absolute brilliant piece of narrative!

LOL at signs. When people say they’re a water sign or fire, etc. they’re talking about their zodiac signs (astrology). Alternatively you can talk about Chinese zodiac, and each one also has its own element depending on the year. Ex. 1988 = earth dragon, I think 1986 is fire tiger fwiw.

Jaskier is Polish for "buttercup." Apparently the folks who translated the books felt "Buttercup" didn't quite hit the mark for the character in English, so they localized it as "Dandelion" to keep the feel.

The first time I heard about the Jill tucker thing was the first time I watched a "Hardwon's Painting party" and I legit was in shock because his delivery was so deadpan 😂 I wasn't for sure it was a joke for like 3 weeks.
