Hi Everyone,

The questions this week were:

Ray asked about polyrhythms, vertical vs horizontal scales, and 12 string guitars.

Wayne followed up about an open mic that went really well AND asked about downward sliding vs upward sliding.

Mateus was experiencing some pain while playing guitar.

STI asked about relative minors - not fully understanding.

Jeff has chord changes and lyrics and was wondering how to get a complete song from here.

You missed this one! Look out for the next one!

D'oh!-Ray-Me

Do you have a 12 string guitar? How difficult are they to play compared to six strings?

Hi Scott, I had an absolutely fantastic time at the open Mic this past Tuesday. Highly recommend anyone thinking about it to give it a go. I noticed one of the musicians that evening sliding into notes from a higher pitch/tone. I've never really practiced slides that way. I've always gone from a lower note to higher similar to bending notes. It sounded very cool. Is it common to slide notes that way?
