Jonatan Rojas

Hello everyone, my name is Jonatan. I've been struggling to learn to play guitar passed the campfire abilities for the longest time. I don't sign at all (only in the shower hehe!) and love the idea of getting or creating a backing track and be able to make melodies and improvise all over the neck either transposing voices to melodies or making my own. I assumed that starting learning more theory would be the way to start. I have to tell you Scott, you are excellent explaining concepts, ideas and the fact you figure out a way to display the notes and everything you are talking about on screen is a huge help. I'm already on the CAGED series and moving on..

Ken Rutledge

Hello to all, my name is Ken. I started learning guitar when I was 6 yrs old. When I was in High School I played in a band for 2-3 yrs. Went in the Air Force and played at my stations and even in a band in Viet Nam. After 4 yrs I came back home and picked up where I left off playing with the band. Played for a living for 23 yrs. Nightclubs, Casinos, bars, etc. Mostly playing bass guitar by this time. Learned to play piano, tenor and alto sax. Everything I played I learned by ear. Never had a lesson. Then I quit and started teaching school. Now I'm retired from teaching and decided to try and learn some of the things I never knew before. I saw Scott online and liked his genuine style of talking and teaching. I thought he was someone I would like to get to know better and pick his brain. I am old and retired but still feel the love for music. I just joined today so I am just off the truck.
