Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

You may recognize some returning item suggestions! Items can be renominated and re-drawn for weekly polls following a week-long cooldown.

Here are the 6 randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1) Direstone Geode — A magical greatclub made of a crystalline stalagmite with a geode at its center. Each time you hit a target and roll the maximum number on the damage die, the die size increases by one, up to a d12, when it shatters and resets.

2) Horn of the Wild Hunt — A magical warhorn that can summon a large war elk as a mount. You can blow the horn again to summon a spectral stampede of elk to trample over creatures in a line around you.

3) Solid Foundation — A magical makeup sponge that can be dipped into body paint or similar dyes. When held against your skin, the pigment bleeds from the sponge and covers your body. It remains there for up to 24 hours.

4) Occult Shears — A pair of daggers that combine to make a magical pair of shears. Items cut with the blades can't be repaired with the mending spell, and spellcasters hit by them make concentration checks with disadvantage.

5) Golden Ticket — A one-time-use magical ticket that allows you to find extraplanar or extradimensional spaces within 1 mile of you. When you're near a space's entrance, you can enter the space even if you normally wouldn't be able to. The ticket then vanishes.

6) Detective's Notebook — A notebook that once belonged to a famed detective. While holding it, you can write observations inside, granting you benefits to certain skill checks such as Investigation or Insight.

Thanks to everyone who submitted item ideas and voted for them this week!

Keep on adventuring!
