Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

You may recognize some returning item suggestions! Items can be renominated and re-drawn for weekly polls following a week-long cooldown.

Here are the 6 randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1) Maestro Baton — A wand for bards that lets you summon a spectral instrumental weapon, add your bardic inspiration die to a missed ranged attack, or cast a spell as a bonus action instead of an action.

2) Helm of the Broken Dragon — A cursed dragonborn helmet infused with magic from a psychic dragon. Your breath weapon deals psychic damage and affects creatures in it with a modified bane spell.

3) Hawkren's Easel — A collapsing easel for a wizard that can be used to cast the tiny hut spell once per day. While within the hut, you can change a number of your prepared spells over the course of a short rest.

4) Artifact Oil — A potion that, when applied to an item, makes it spectacularly shiny and impressive. For 8 hours after it's been applied, it gives off a strong arcane aura, and any attempt to learn the item's rarity result in it appearing to be an artifact.

5) Mosshide Troll Belt — A vine and flower-covered belt made from a troll's hide. While wearing it, your Constitution score increases, and while you have less than half your hit points remaining, you regain 1d6 hits points at the start of each of your turns.

6) Fathom Sounder — A magical fishing rod-like device with a seemingly limitless spool of thread. The thread is weighed with a metal ball and has a magical counter at the handle that counts the distance or depth that the thread has been pulled by the weight.

Thanks to everyone who submitted item ideas and voted for them this week!

Keep on adventuring!
