Renowned Ideas — What 2 community items should be made? (Patreon)

 Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

You may recognize some returning item suggestions! Items can be renominated and re-drawn for weekly polls following a weeklong cooldown.

Here are the 7 randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1) Regalia of the Underworld — A legendary necromancer's royal robe that enhances their necromancy spells and allows them to summon more durable thralls, control and communicate with existing undead creatures, and impose disadvantage on undead attack rolls against them.

2) Winter's Sleep — A wintery staff that can create snowstorms that inflict cold damage and reduce affected creatures' speeds. If a creature's speed falls to 0 from it, it falls into a magical sleep.

3) Staff of Dusk — A staff made from a white branch that casts illusory spells to play tricks and manipulate the light around it.

4) Nautilus Shell — A seashell-inspired pendant that allows you to cast a modified version of charm person on a creature within 5 feet of you, without them knowing they were charmed.

5) Savant’s Spellbook — A spellbook with a series of magical, replaceable covers on it that allow you to gain the 2nd-level Wizard "Savant" benefits from other schools of magic.

6) Blade of the Blood God — A necrotic blade that allows you to sacrifice your own health to summon and buff a modified Water Elemental: a Blood Elemental.

7) Headsman’s Inquest — An executioner's axe that can be used to cast the speak with dead spell from it. If the target of the spell was killed by the axe, it must tell the truth to any questions you ask of it.
