Renowned Ideas: Choose 2 community items to be made! (Patreon)

Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

You may recognize some returning item suggestions! Items can be renominated and re-drawn for weekly polls following a weeklong cooldown.

Here are the 6 randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1) Hydra's Bite — a hunting trap that clamps down and restrains the triggering creature and up to 4 other creatures within range of it, dealing damage each turn a creature remains caught by it.

2) Consecrated Beast Slayer's Crossbow — a crossbow with clips of silvered bolts, allowing it to fire more rapidly, that deals extra radiant damage, especially when used against fiends, shapechangers, or undead.

3) Sunkissed Bade — a sword that glimmers as if always in direct sunlight. Creatures hit by it are considered to be in sunlight until the start of your next turn.

4) Bow of Phasic Piercer — a longbow that's made from a phase spider's legs. You can channel the spider's magic to cause arrows to fire through solid objects and deal piercing damage for the rest of your turn.

5) Violet King's Promise — a legendary rapier that uses charges to empower spells, both helpful and harmful, and can reroll certain 1s and 2s. It also allows you to gain certain benefits with the Help action, and divert some harmful effects from your allies.

6) Cold Spaulder — a metal shoulder guard that's always cold to the touch. When a creature speaks to you while wearing and are ignored, that creature feels a sudden chill down their spine.

7) Wand of Parental Enforcement, Model S — a wand that can cast either calm emotions, sleep, or suggestion on a creature that hasn't reached maturity by an ally.
