Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

Here are the randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1) Sirensong Musicbox — This ornate music box mimics a siren's song for 1 minute when cranked. While it's playing, you can expend a charge to try to charm a creature that can hear the song, incapacitating them.

2) Shimmershell Shield — This iridescent shield is made of shiny crab shell. As an action, you can command the shield to wrap around your body to form a protective shell, increasing your AC and emitting dim light. You can revert the shell back to a shield again as an action.

3) Fugi-teeth — This false tooth magically contains a set of thieves tools. You can produce these tools as a bonus action, replacing them again with another bonus action. Alternatively, you can bite down to break the tooth, releasing you from any constraints and destroying the tooth and its thieves tools.

4) Frostbite Snowflakes — A scarf stylized with snowflakes that can summon and throw icy throwing stars (daggers) in the shape of a snowflake. Creatures hit by these attacks have their speed cumulatively reduced and take cold damage each turn unless they use an action to remove the icy shards.

5) Honeywood Recurve — A heavy recurve bow is constantly humming from the bees that live inside. Insects are friendly to you and you can expend charges to summon a swarm of bees to attack a nearby area.

6) Tiny Tent — This small triangular fold of multicolored canvas can be transformed into a two person tent or a large yurt that mimics the tiny hut spell with some aesthetic changes, both fully equipped with supplies and gear.

7) Scroll of Mass Sending — You can use this scroll and speak up to 150 words over the next minute to send a message to every creature you're familiar with on the same plane as you. Recipients can hear the message in their mind and recognize you as the sender but can't respond.
